Hi Manfred,

just for the record: "Wilhelm+Kalkbrunner - Quellen zur deutschen
Siedlungsgeschichte in Südosteuropa" only has a Georg Molz.

Kind regards from Black Forest

Greetings all,

I am working with a gentleman to find a specific ancestor of his who
reportedly came from a town called Altenburg.  Unfortunately, the Meyers
gazetteer shows over 20 entries.  The ancestor, Johannes
Molzer/Molczer/Molcer, emigrated to Indjija in the late 18th century
to the Banat. He and his unnamed wife moved later to Ruma and then
Mariatheresiopel.  Mariathersiopel is where he died.  His
great-grandparents were Johannes and Katharina Eckeman Molzer.  They
reportedly wound up with him.

Is there any documentation in Wien of Johannes Molzer's travels south?
If there is documentation on him in Maritheresiopel, Ruma, or Indjija
that can single out the Altenburg he is describing?  Danke im Voraus.
Manfred
