Does anyone know if there is a family book for Chisoda (Kishoda)? I’m looking for information about Rosa Hertz (married to Ignatz Franz Lipsky). He emigrated alone to Canada in 1930. They had two children a boy and a girl. He was born in 1891 so I’m guessing he was married when he was in his 20’s.
Thanks, Kathy

As far as I know, there is no book for Kischoda. I also didn’t find any records when I did a search on FamilySearch. It is now a district of Temesvar, so records may be with a parish in Temesvar. —Karen

I agree with Joe. The code is probably Amann Charles Emigration Lorrains ver le Banat. Family no. 3110 is for Pierre Reiter. Do you need that entry?

Re: Gottlob look-up request: REITER
RE-bonjour Michael,
Anna GIESSER had a very big French touch in her!
The HAMANT, BOHN, AUBERTIN, MUSSOT, GAUTHIER, NOEL, VINCENT, VOSGIN, DEMOYEN, HINAL, HUIN, SAUCE, BLANPIED, HAZOTTE families are among her ancestors.
You can find detailed information about his ancestry on the Geneanet site "Lorrains du Banat".
You will also find on the Facebook group "Lorrains du Banat" of which you are a member, stories of some Lorraine families, including the CARTIER, who are also among your ancestors.
A bientôt,
Daniel

It’s under source list top of page 1309 Gottlob. Is this a Banat source or French source or some other source? Thank you for your help. Regards, Cathy
