A curious side note. I am working in the Resita Romania records currently and there is a Nicolaus Funk family there and he was born in Lenauheim. Not the one you were asking about as this one was born around 1863. I have attached his marriage record and if it is relevant I will send the rest of the family I have found.

There are other Funks in Lenauheim, but none of the other earlier folks mention where they are from. This is Nikolaus’ entry: https://ofb.genealogy.net/famreport.php?ofb=lenauheim&ID=4111
The other Funks: https://ofb.genealogy.net/namelist.php?nachname=Funk&ofb=lenauheim

The records online don't go back that far. There are records on family search in the images (not indexed) that are from like 1828-1848. I haven't looked through all of those. Here is the link: https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/image-details?page=1&place=2241659&rmsId=TH-909-69845-46163-43&imageIndex=18&singleView=true
There are a fair number of Jurasits/Juraschitz in the mid to late 1800's. I would be happy to copy those images for you if it would help in your search. What I was searching for was fruitless, BUT.... I did find a lot of people from the town my ancestors came from in Serbia that will help fill in a lot of gaps in the records, so it was a win even if it was a loss. :)

Some of my roots are in Csadat (one grandfather born in house 47), but due to the dispersed places of my family I never went beyond the (old) family book on Lenauheim available in the net and the church books on family search. What kind of later records do you have and where did you get them.

Thank you Joe, I am fully aware of the revised and extended family book by Dietmar Giel. He nicely answered several detailed questions on my relatives from Csadat. However, I was asking for the possibility to get access to the church books themself as Terrie mentioned above.
Rudolf (Huepfl)
I don't know if you meant me, but I have the following Csatád/Lenauheim Roman Catholic church books, which were photographed on my behalf last year by a professional photographer in the state archives of Timisoara:
Baptisms (with index): 1836-1856
Baptisms (with index): 1873-1886
Baptisms (with index): 1887-1899
Marriages: 1862-1884
Marriages: 1885-1902
Deaths: 1865-1882
Deaths: 1882-1904
I attach some photos of the bookjackets of the church registers.
If anyone is interested, please contact me by personal email at the following address:
lemilpromo@...
and we can discuss the details.
Best regards,
Tibor
I seem to remember that I read here on the list that one of our listmates offered Lenauheim church books for sale, which he/she had photographed in the archives in Timisoara. But maybe I'm remembering wrong.Greetings,Florian Baranyi-Sterbinszky
