There has been some discussion in the past month or so, on the list of  Banaters enrolled in SS Divisions other than the Prinz Eugen.  The 5 Nov edition of the Banater Post contains an article on a newly published book by Alfred Ivanov(author of the Grabatz family book) entitled "Endstation Narwa".  As the article notes there are few Romanian Banat households where a family  member has not left their life in Estonia or Latvia on the Narva. Ivanov has compiled a catalogue of 750 casualties from ca 100 grave photos in military cemeteries.  Over 150 Banat localities are noted.  The victims are listed alphabetically as well as by their birth place.  Birth dates, death dates and places, cemetery and military rank are given where known. The work can be ordered from Alfred Ivanov atalfivanov@....   The price is 15 Euro plus postage

I definitly can say that my father was a surviving member of the 11. SS Panzergrenadier-Division Nordland, and he was in Narva and very likely also engaged in the Endkampf battle of Berlin. He was a Saxonian from Romania. Any details about these events are very appreciated.
